Uretek Worldwide is pleased to announce the appointment of Geotech Solutions Ltd. of Oakville, Ontario as the exclusive Licensed Canadian Distributor for Slab Lifting, Deep Injection, Soil Stabilization and PowerPileTM Technologies.
Geotech Solutions Ltd. joins with Uretek’s 30 years of constant commitment to research and innovation resulting in literally tens of thousands of long term solutions and successful projects all over the world with its internationally patented processes in concrete slab lifting and soil stabilization.
Uretek companies are the only specialist contractors for slab-lifting and ground stabilization, with access to unique technologies covered by Uretek patents and trademarks. Some of these technologies include:
- Uretek Deep Injection, a unique stabilization method, providing time and cost effective solutions with minimum mess and disruption for poor soil compaction, sub-surface water pockets and voids, as well as settling sedimentary layers.
- Uretek Floor and Slablifting featuring an accurate and highly controllable method for raising and aligning uneven slabs, in many applications ranging from factory floors in Industrial and Commercial properties, to roads, highways and airports.
The principal of this unique resin injection process is based on the expansive capabilities of closed cell, high density resins, which can reach a compressive strength under load that is similar to a typical concrete mix, but have only 10% of the weight of concrete.
The injection process is very controllable to accuracies of +/- 1 millimetre. Excavation equipment or removal of the slab is not necessary, with the process being fast, quiet and executed with minimal disruption.
